Stimulating Physics Network Resource

Studying physics can open up a wide-range of job and career opportunities to you. Of course there are the obvious roles in engineering; product design or development; and physics-related roles such as teaching.  However, like any other subject there is also the possibility of your skills taking you to many other exciting careers -  including research!

Here at Babcock Research our specialism is social and market research. Social and market researchers rely heavily on many of the same skills as scientists, including mathematics; logic and reasoning; accuracy and objectivity; an ability to clearly communicate findings. Just like scientists, they must control their test situations in order to make sure that the findings they generate are reliable and accurate.

As a thank you for completing the Stimulating Physics Network survey we would like to offer you an insight into the world of market research. Please click here for a real-life market research mission (with a physics slant) which – should you choose to accept – will give you the chance to find the researcher in you…
