Donna James, Director of Babcock Research has around 20 years’ research experience in academia, other public sector organisations, and private consultancy, producing a long list of publications along the way. Working in international, national and local economic, social and labour market research, Donna has led a wide range of skills studies, project and programme evaluations, sectoral research and local economic development and education and skills research and intelligence services. She pioneered new peer group research methods in the North East of England, building on her methodological expertise and the work Babcock Research undertakes with children and young people. A keen triathlete, Donna is based in Harrogate, North Yorkshire.
