During the last 10 years, the New Deal, and subsequently the Flexible New Deal, have helped more than 1.8 million people into work.
BabcockEnterprise has been involved in the Flexible New Deal in Surrey and Sussex, providing an integrated training and support programme to Jobcentre Plus customers. The programme for each individual, which runs for up to 52 weeks, involves advisors and job brokers working together to prepare and support long-term unemployed customers to gain skills and the confidence necessary to enter sustainable employment.
